TEN Inc., a company specializing in MLOps for AI infrastructures (https://ten1010.io/), has established and disclosed this Privacy Policy to ensure the utmost protection of personal information belonging to information owners and handle any relevant grievances swiftly and smoothly, in strict adherence to Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
This Privacy Policy is in effect as of April 25, 2023.
TEN Inc., a company specializing in MLOps for AI infrastructures (https://ten1010.io/), handles personal information for the purposes outlined below. The personal information we process will not be used for any purposes other than those listed. In the event that there is a change in the purpose of usage, we will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate approval, in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Website Sign-up and Management
Personal information is processed for the purpose of facilitating various notices, notifications, and grievance handling.
2. Complaint Administration and Handling
Personal information is processed for the purpose of verifying the identity of the complainant, reviewing the complaint, contacting and notifying the complainant for factual investigations, and communicating the results of the complaint handling process.
3. Utilization for Marketing and Advertising
Personal information is processed for the purpose of developing new services (products), providing customized services, and evaluating the effectiveness of our services, among other related activities.
① TEN Inc. handles and retains personal information in accordance with the personal information retention and utilization period stipulated by law or as agreed upon by the information owner at the time of collecting their personal information.
② The processing and retention periods of the personal information are as follows:
1. Website Sign-up and Management
Personal information associated with website sign-up and management is retained and used for the purposes listed above for a period of up to one year from the date of agreement for collection and usage.
Retention basis: Paragraph 1, Article 15 (Collection and Use of Personal Information) of the Personal Information Protection Act; Article 11 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce; and Article 47.4 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

Personal information related to complaint administration and handling is retained and used for the purposes listed above from the date of agreement for the collection and use until it is “promptly disposed.”

① When collecting personal information of children below the age of 14, TEN Inc. acquires consent from their legal representative and collects only the minimum personal information necessary to provide the required services.
• Mandatory items: Name, relationship, and contact information of the legal representative
② Furthermore, if TEN Inc. collects personal information of children for promotional purposes related to the “processing purpose,” separate consent is obtained from their legal representative.
③ When collecting personal information of children below the age of 14, TEN Inc. may request minimal information from the children, such as the name or contact information of the legal representative. We verify the consent of the lawful legal representative through one of the following methods:
• The legal representative expresses their consent on the internet website where the consent details are posted, and TEN Inc., as the personal information processor, confirms the consent via mobile phone text message.
• The legal representative expresses their consent on the internet website where the consent details are posted, and we collect the card information, such as credit card or debit card, of the legal representative.
• The legal representative expresses their consent on the internet website where the consent details are posted, and it is verified that the legal representative themselves provided consent through mobile phone self-authentication.
• We issue a document directly to the legal representative containing the consent details, or deliver it via mail or fax, and the legal representative provides their signature for the consent details and submits it.
• We send an electronic mail containing the consent details and receive an electronic mail carrying the expression of consent from the legal representative.
• We inform the legal representative about the consent details and obtain consent via a phone call, or provide information on how to check the consent details, such as an internet website address, and then obtain consent through a phone call.
• Any other similar methods as those listed above to inform the legal representative about the consent details and confirm their expression of consent.
① When personal information becomes unnecessary due to reasons such as exceeding the retention period or achieving the purpose for which the personal information was collected, TEN Inc. promptly disposes of the personal information.
② If it is necessary to continue retaining the personal information despite exceeding the agreed retention period or accomplishing the processing purpose, the personal information will be transferred to a separate database or stored in a different storage location.

③ The process and method of disposing personal information are as follows:
1. Disposal Process
TEN Inc. identifies the personal information that warrants disposal, obtains approval from the individual responsible for personal information protection, and proceeds with the disposal of the personal information.
2. Disposal Method
Personal information in physical form, such as paper, is disposed of through shredding using a shredding machine or incineration.
Electronic files containing personal information are disposed of using secure technological methods that prevent the recovery of the records.
① TEN Inc. disposes of personal information of users who have not utilized the service for a period of one year. However, such information may be stored and managed separately from the personal information of other users until the retention period prescribed by other applicable laws expires.
② TEN Inc. notifies the user via email, text messages or other appropriate means of notification regarding the upcoming disposal of their personal information, the expiration of the retention period, and the specific items of personal information that will be disposed of, at least 30 days prior to the scheduled disposal date.
③ If a user wishes to retain their personal information and prevent its disposal, they may log into the service before the expiration of the retention period.
① The information owner has the right to exercise their rights, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information from TEN Inc. at any time.
② In order to exercise the rights described in Article 7.1 herein, the information owner may utilize written letters, email, fax, or other means in accordance with Article 41.1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act. TEN Inc. will promptly respond and take appropriate measures in accordance with the request.
③ The rights described in Article 7.1 herein can also be exercised through a legal representative or a duly authorized delegate. In such cases, a power of attorney must be submitted using the form specified in Attached Form No. 11 of the Public Notice on Processing Methods of Personal Information (No. 2020-7).
④ The rights of the information owner, particularly regarding access or suspension of personal information processing, may be subject to restrictions as specified in Article 35.4 and Article 37.2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
⑤ Regarding requests for correction or deletion of personal information, if other laws stipulate that the relevant personal information must be collected, deletion may not be feasible.
⑥ When receiving request for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing in accordance with the rights of the information owner, TEN Inc. verifies whether it is made by the information owner or their lawful representative.
TEN Inc. implements the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:
1. Establishment and Implementation of Internal Management Plan
We establish and implement an internal management plan to ensure the secure processing of personal information.
2. Limited Number of Personal Information Handling Employees and Training
As a measure to manage personal information, we designate specific employees to handle personal information, minimizing the number of individuals involved and limiting access to only those responsible for the relevant tasks.
3. Regular Self-Audits
To maintain the safety of personal information handling, we conduct regular self-audits on a quarterly basis.
4. Access Controls for Personal Information
We employ necessary measures to control access to personal information, including granting, modifying, and revoking access rights to the database system that processes such information. Additionally, we utilize an intrusion blocking system to prevent unauthorized external access.
5. Technological Safeguards Against Hacking and Other Threats
TEN Inc. installs security programs to prevent data breaches and damage caused by hacking attempts, computer viruses, and similar threats. We regularly update and review these security programs. Furthermore, we implement systems that restrict external access to specific areas and employ both technological and physical measures to monitor and control access to those areas.
TEN Inc. does not utilize cookies that store and retrieve usage information of information owners as needed.
TEN Inc. does not collect, use, or provide behavioral information for customized online advertisement or any other similar purposes.
In compliance with Article 15.3 and Article 17.4 of the Personal Information Protection Act, TEN Inc. may use or provide personal information for additional purposes, considering the factors specified in Article 14.2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, without seeking consent from the information owner. When considering additional usage and provision without consent, TEN Inc. carefully evaluates the following criteria:
▶ Whether the additional purposes for using and providing personal information are related to the original collection purposes.
▶ Whether it is reasonably foreseeable to use and provide the personal information for the additional purposes based on the circumstances of collection and past processing practices.
▶ Whether the additional usage and provision of the personal information unduly infringes upon the rights and interests of the information owner.
▶ Whether appropriate measures, such as using pseudonyms or encryption, have been implemented to ensure data security.
